Managing Transitions: The Emotional Side of Change with Design Group International

Managing Transitions will be the theme of our May 21 Office Hours program, when Lukie Wells of Design Group International will talk about the emotional side of change. Lukie will help you unpack the difference between change and transition by identifying key differentiating factors, hearing about your experiences, and equipping you with questions to ask as you anticipate future adaptations within your team or organization.
Items to consider will include differentiating factors between change and transition; elements to consider during change; why tending to transitions is important for a team and community.
 Our Presenter: Lukie Wells is a Senior Partner at Design Group International where she supports nonprofit leaders, senior administrative teams and Boards to co-create systems of growth, accountability, and achievement. Working alongside her clients as a Process Consultant, Lukie helps teams and organizations to realize their aspirations through listening, helping and learning. After 35 years of working in independent schools, Lukie earned her Master’s in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania, earned her ACC certification, and completed two certifications in Process Consulting. Lukie is the co-chair of the National Association of Independent Schools Task Force on Coaching and is developer of the NAIS Coaches Corner. Currently, Lukie serves on two nonprofit boards in an effort to learn from doing and supporting mission-based organizations to achieve their aspirations.
