with Philip Rosenau/Imperial Dade

Thursday, November 5

Your school has worked hard at implementing cleaning and sanitizing protocols as a result of the pandemic. Much of this work is being done after school or before opening for the day, but how are you handling daytime cleaning and sanitizing? Please join us as your PAISBOA Preferred Vendor Philip Rosenau Co., a division of Imperial Dade, presents Daytime Cleaning & Disinfecting in the Educational Environment on Thursday, November 5 at 11:30 am.

Using their popular "Lunch & Learn" format, Rosenau regulars Dean DiSibioBill McGarvey, and John Thomas will address the challenges and concerns involved with daytime cleaning and disinfection during COVID, and moderate a panel of PAISBOA Plant and Facilities Managers -- including Bob Meals of The Shipley School and Pete Crippen of Overbrook School for the Blind, who will talk about their experiences and what they've turned into best practices. Some of the topics to be covered include:

  • Use of non-traditional cleaning personnel for day cleaning/disinfection
  • Staff training, hazard communications, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Understanding the difference between cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfection
