The PAISBOA Office Hours - Election Safety and Security with Joffe Emergency Services

PAISBOA Preferred Vendor Joffe Emergency Services will join us for the October Office Hour on Wednesday, October 16 at 1:00 pm. The Joffe team will be presenting on Ensuring Safety and Security During Election and Inauguration Periods for Schools. As we approach the election and inauguration season, all school staff play a vital role in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for students and colleagues.
This session will provide practical strategies to ensure safety and security during these times, drawing on insights from previous experiences during similar periods of heightened national focus. Participants will explore methods for proactive communication, inclusive community engagement, conflict resolution, and effective collaboration with local authorities. By fostering a calm and respectful atmosphere, school communities can navigate these periods smoothly while ensuring the well-being of everyone on campus.
The PAISBOA Office Hours Program takes place on the third Wednesday of every month at 1:00 pm unless otherwise noted. Each program will feature a guest speaker or presentation addressing some of the timely topics that come across your desk. We'll still leave time at the end of each program for our usual Open Forum, where you're welcome to ask questions or talk about whatever's going on at your school or university.
