Building Resilient Business Offices in an AI Landscape with ATLIS

Wednesday, February 18
1:00 pm

The February installment of the PAISBOA Office Hour will feature Building Resilient Business Offices in an AI Landscape with our Preferred Vendor Partner ATLIS. Please join us as Christina Lewellen, President and CEO of ATLIS, identifies some of the key AI-driven trends shaping independent school finance, operations, and administrative work. Christina will help you recognize practical opportunities to use AI for efficiency, workload reduction, and staff wellbeing, and show you how to evaluate where AI can improve your decision-making versus where human judgment remains essential.

Independent schools are navigating rapid change driven by artificial intelligence, shifting workforce expectations, and increasing operational complexity. This session explores the trends shaping the future of schools through the lens of the business office. Christina will also examine how AI-enabled efficiencies, the future of work, and evolving organizational models are reshaping finance, operations, and administrative leadership. The conversation will focus on using AI to reduce friction in day-to-day workflows, support staff wellbeing, strengthen decision-making, and improve operational sustainability. Participants will leave with clear patterns to watch, practical examples from peer institutions, and strategic considerations to help business officers lead with confidence in an AI-driven environment.

Our Presenter: Christina Lewellen, MBA, FASAE, CAE, President and CEO, Association of Technology Leaders in Independent Schools (ATLIS), is a seasoned association executive who brings a data-driven framework to business planning and strategy, having earned her MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology and the Certified Association Executive designation from the American Society of Association Executives. She was named the CEO of ATLIS in 2019 and travels coast-to-coast speaking at industry events and visiting independent schools and their leadership teams. She serves as a trustee for Harmony, Incorporated, and is an active volunteer in the association management space. She was named an ASAE Fellow in 2025, a designation bestowed upon less than one percent of ASAE’s membership.

The PAISBOA Office Hours Program takes place on the third Wednesday of every month at 1:00 pm unless otherwise noted. Each program will feature a guest speaker or presentation addressing some of the timely topics that come across your desk. We'll still leave time at the end of each program for our Open Forum, where you're welcome to ask questions or talk about whatever's going on at your school or university.
