 Our next PAISBOA Office Hours program is set for Thursday, June 26, when Susan Guerette of Fisher Phillips presents a legal update for K-12 and Higher Educational Institutions.
Susan is a partner in the firm's Philadelphia office. She has a national practice representing management on a wide range of labor and employment matters including defending claims of discrimination based on race, gender, age, disability, and national origin. She is also a member of the firm's Education Practice Group, which represents private educational institutions in employee, student, and board issues. Susan counsels employers on employment policies, immigration issues and compliance with local, state and federal statutes. She drafts and reviews employer policies and severance agreements and negotiates employee compensation and employment agreements.
The PAISBOA Office Hours Program takes place on the third Wednesday of every month at 1:00 pm unless otherwise noted. Each program will feature a guest speaker or presentation addressing some of the timely topics that come across your desk. We'll still leave time at the end of each program for our usual Open Forum, where you're welcome to ask questions or talk about whatever's going on at your school or university.
