Annual HR Day 2 Set for April 17

Please join us for HR Day 2, the continuation of our annual HR Day series, set for Wednesday, December 7. The workshop sessions will begin immediately after the conclusion of the PAISBOA Health Benefit Trust December General Meeting. The HBT Meeting will take place from 9:00 to approximately 10:30 am, with HR Day beginning at 11:00 am.

HR Day 2 picks up where our December 2018 program left off. Susan Guerette (right) and Michael Galey of Fisher Phillips will return to continue our discussion. Among the topics to be considered are:

  • Social Media Issues – what can you restrict; what can teachers post; what should policies provide
  • Mandatory Child Abuse Reporting – how does it work, when should a report be made, what happens if the person under investigation is on your campus such as an employee or parent, what should your policy say
  • Hostile Work Environment and Leave Issues -- Under ADA/FMLA/Worker’s Comp
