Recognizing
that networking along with the exchange of information and professional education are important,
PAISBOA stages a series of monthly workshops or seminars from August to
June on a wide range of topics.
PAISBOA also hosts:
¨ Bi-monthly luncheon meetings for Plant Managers,
featuring presentations and tours on topics of interest
¨ The Annual Meeting each year held in April
¨
A general
membership meeting in August to communicate critical information about
health insurance issues.
Recently, PAISBOA has
offered a series of half-day workshop on subjects of interest in the area
of HR Administration.
There is no charge for
any of these events.
PAISBOA MEMBER PROGRAMS
PAISBOA manages a number of beneficial programs in
areas where financial savings along with improvement in the quality of
product and service can be
achieved through collective purchasing arrangements.
Each program is administered by an outside
“expert” consultant, and
directed by a Steering Committee of representatives from member schools.
Each program is operated as a free standing entity and
is empowered to set its own standards
for admission and discipline in
order to assure maximum effectiveness as well as to support the overall
mission of the Association.
