Services to the General Membership

PAISBOA is a regional organization originally formed by Independent School Business Officers for business purposes. It currently includes 149 schools and colleges, who have access to all of a wide range of services and programs.  The sole cost of membership is annual dues billed each January.

A good deal of information about the initiatives of the Association are reflected and updated on our website: www.paisboa.org. Certain information is provided through the database maintained on the site, particularly:

§  Listservs for the following groups and consortia:

o   Business Managers, to facilitate the sharing of questions and answers among all members

o   Human Resource administration

o   Plant Managers

o   Transportation, Safety and Security Committees

o   Billing Managers for AR/AP issues, tuition/accounting issues

o   Professional Development Activities

§  Membership Directory with contact information

§  Skills Bank, providing access to experienced people offering to help others in areas of expertise useful to Business Managers

§  Lists of Vendor Resources and Contact Information for each Consortium

§  Calendar of all upcoming meetings as well as information about content and directions to each venue

§  Downloadable content from Seminar Presentations and Surveys

Recognizing that networking and the exchange of information and professional education are important, PAISBOA stages a series of monthly workshops or seminars from August to June on a wide range of topics.

PAISBOA also hosts:

·         Bi-monthly luncheon meetings for Plant Managers, featuring presentations and tours on topics of interest

·         An Annual Meeting held each April, designed each year with a specific theme based on current topics and trends

·         A general membership update in August, to communicate critical information about health insurance issues and pricing

There is no charge for any of these events.
