This latest program, www.paisboainvest.com, was launched in May 2009 and is designed to provide investment options for short term excess operating funds. The selection of Public Financial Management Asset Management LLC to manage the PAISBOA Investment Program was the culmination of three years of work and reviews of alternative options and providers.

The program offers two basic investment options, a Money Market Mutual Fund and Fixed-Term Certificates of Deposit. Participating schools should benefit from PFM expertise and the efficiencies built into the program.

Each week, a PFM consultant to PAISBOA sends an e-mail to all PAISBank Members containing daily investment rates for the PAISBOA Investment Program. CDs are offered daily through this program as well. Members are encouraged to call on an individual basis for current CD rates and information on rates for other maturity dates.
